Old Perfume

Baby it's full speed ahead straight down the open road
You never cared to join me there, couldn't help but let it show
Guess we never had it all and never were quite right
But nothing's quite so crystal clear in the silence of the night
Are you thinking about me?
Are you thinking about me?
Yeah, my old perfume should remind me of you
But all of you's wrapped up in me
Am I to erase all the things we do
In honor of our memory?
Don't know where you'll go
Don't know who you'll see
'Cause I don't know
Who you are without me
Don't know where you'll go
Don't know who you'll see
'Cause I don't know
Who you are without me
Baby I get one drink in and feelings start to flood
I know you hate to not relate, but it's just not in your blood
The streets you walk on ring of when you called my name
The smoke just grew too thick, my love, yeah we never were the same
Are you thinking about me?
Will you pour one out for me?
Yeah, my old perfume should remind me of you
But who are you without me?
Am I to erase all the things we do
In honor of our memory?
Don't know where you'll go
Don't know who you'll see
'Cause I don't know
Who you are without me
Don't know where you'll go
Don't know who you'll see
'Cause I don't know
Who you are without me
What do you do with all the nights you used to spend with me?
And how do you all you used to like you never knew me?
Like all the time was empty?
Yeah, my old perfume should remind me of you
But who are you without me?
Am I to erase all the things we do
In honor of our memory?
Don't know where you'll go
Don't know who you'll see
'Cause I don't know
Who you are without me
Don't know where you'll go
Don't know who you'll see
'Cause I don't know

Don't Bother Me

Your mouth tastes like cigarettes
Usually I hate that mess
But on you it tastes so good
Can you feel the heat between us?
You and I got chemistry
You tell me you wish I would
You got me looking for your love day and night
Even though we both know you’re really not my type
But honey if you say it’s okay, I say it’s alright
I’ll make my bad decisions
I’ll make them with conviction
I’ll make my bad decisions
'Cause if it don’t bother you
Then it don’t bother me
Yeah, I think we’re still alone
When’s your girlfriend coming home?
Don’t change your mind now baby
Can we get a little closer now?
Think you could show me how?
Don’t you dare tell me “maybe”
You got me looking for your love day and night
Even though we both know I’m really not your type
But honey if you say it’s okay, I say it’s alright
I’ll make my bad decisions
I’ll make them with conviction
I’ll make my bad decisions
'Cause if it don’t bother you
Then it don’t bother me
When can I see you again?
What do you mean you don’t know?
When can we do this again?
What do you mean you’re not sure?
I’ll make my bad decisions
I’ll make them with conviction
I’ll make my bad decisions
'Cause if it don’t bother you
Then it don’t bother me
I’ll make my bad decisions
'Cause if it don’t bother you
Then it don’t bother me

Home Alone

I come back to everyone I’ve loved and lost
My dreams roll in with every ghost
I know I burned a million bridges, paid the cost
But I can’t help that I loved you most
If you want to call me up and say goodnight
I’m by the phone
Maybe if I just keep my bedroom clean enough
I’ll feel at home, alone
I’m still not used to waking up outside of your arms
Watching rays of sun traverse an empty space
And if I had to do it over I don’t know if you’d be gone
I can’t help that you’re my biggest growing pain
If you want to stop on by and stay the night
I’m by the phone
Maybe if I just keep my tv on all night
I’ll feel at home, alone
If you want to ask me how I’m doing now
I’m by the phone
Maybe if I just draw my shades and close my eyes
I’ll feel at home, alone
Maybe
I’ll feel at home, alone

Wanna Try

Do you want me, babe, the way I want you, or don't you?
Cause I'm trying and crying and failing at playing it cool
Do you miss me baby now that you've up and gone, or don't you?
Cause it's painful and shameful the way that ya make me the fool
Shouldn't be scared, I should feel nothing at all
I never cared, now I'm waiting for your call
So tell me, will you ever ring?
'Cause you
When you lay with me, the moments are just borrowed time
And I
And I should know better than ever that I'll never call you mine
But you make me wanna try
Do you think about all of the things we could be, or don't you?
Cause I'm dying to tell you that it's all that's on my mind
Do you realize I usually don't play these games, or don't you?
I'm not making it hard, so come on, don't be so unkind
Too much to bear, trying to keep it all in
But to be fair, you said you like that I'm genuine
So tell me, is this real enough?
'Cause you
When you lay with me, the moments are just borrowed time
And I
And I should know better than ever that I'll never call you mine
But you make me wanna try
Don't say goodbye now
Just 'cause of some vague someday
Don't tell that lie now
You told yourself that you'd say
You know you wanna stay
'Cause you
When you lay with me, the moments are just borrowed time
And I
And I should know better than ever that I'll never call you mine
But you make me wanna try

Last to Leave

You know I know what you mean, don’t have to say a word
Thought I’d play safer by now but I never learn
When you set me aside, I try to act so demure
But It’s all true, it’s all true, all the crazy shit you've heard
Just this vagabond queen with her heart uninsured
Just a scene, just a dream, just a secret that you’d slur
And I know
You can’t help yourself 'cause something’s better than nothing
You can’t help yourself, you got my best for free
If I can’t help myself I know who’s gonna be running
You know I’m always last to leave
I live to hear you explain how I’ve blown your mind
Know I’m good, know I’m good, don't need you to tell me why
You know it’s all a big game, with no logic or rhyme
You can’t stay, there's no way, but you thank me for the time
And I know
You can’t help yourself 'cause something’s better than nothing
You can’t help yourself, you got my best for free
If I can’t help myself I know who’s gonna be running
You know I’m always last to leave
(Always last to leave)
(Always last to leave)
At the end it’s always me
(Always last to leave)
At the end it’s always me
(Always last to leave)
At the end it’s always me
(Always last to leave)
At the end it’s always me
(Always last to leave)
At the end it’s always me
(Always last to leave)
At the end it’s always me
And you know
I can’t help myself 'cause somethings better than nothing
I can’t help myself, I give my best for free
A walking sleepless night always strung out on something
I know I’m always last to leave
You can’t help yourself 'cause something’s better than nothing
You can’t help yourself, you got my best for free
If I can’t help myself I know who’s gonna be running
You know I’m always last to leave
At the end it’s only me
You know I’m always last to leave

The Prom Queens Cleveland, Ohio
Vocalists Ayana Cheston and Hannah Rae Leach met by chance in the fall of 2017. They began to work on music together, fine- tuning their harmonization skills and creating innovative arrangements of songs they loved, all while writing new material.
